Anway Mhaiskar – I am a 1st year M.B.B.S. student at Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College, Dhule, Maharashtra and I am an ex-student of Deodhar Classes, Thane.
In 10th class I had made up my mind of pursuing medical and had started to look for classes. When I came to know of Deodhar Classes I really liked their concept of 8 students per batch and the idea behind it to pay attention to each and every student on individual basis. Initially when the classes started in April I was curious to know about different faculties who would be teaching us for the next 2 years.

When you are new to any subject as a student you need a good moral support from your parents as well as from the teachers in the place you are studying at to get friendly with the new pattern of studying and huge syllabus which is completely new to you after class 10th, and Deodhar Classes had helped me tackle this problem very early in 11th class. Their constant motivation and support helped me sail through this huge sea of competitive exam for 2 years. I personally liked all the faculties in class be it Physics, Chemistry or Biology.

All teachers were very supportive and I never hesitated to ask them anything about a particular topic again and again till I got my concepts cleared. Many a times during my preparation I used to get ups and downs because I was not able to perform at my optimum level in Physics and Chemistry. But when I personally approached Omkar sir and told him about my problem he and his team were always there to help me to do better. Sir provided me with one-to-one extra lectures in my weak topics and it really helped me to overcome this issue.

In 12th class when you have to prepare for boards as well for a competitive exam like NEET you have an immense pressure in your mind. This was tackled very efficiently by all the respective subject faculties in class and there was a really good balance for preparation for both NEET and Board exams. Whenever there was a chapter end in any subject a quick revision test was taken to brush up that topic so that it didn’t create a backlog later. I remember that when we had finished our board exams we had very less amount of time to prepare for NEET. At that time sir gave us a time table of full tests that were to be taken for 2 months before NEET. These all tests were set at a very good level and we had immediate doubt solving sessions to clear all our queries.

The real effort of classes in supporting us during stress and anxiety was always present but came to our highlight even more when the exam was postponed twice due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Every single day during lockdown our batch received call from Omkar sir and they kept asking us to work on our weak points and not to lose our tempo. He also provided us with the personal mobile numbers of each and every teacher during this period to clarify our doubts when necessary and this helped me a lot while preparing during this stressful period of lockdown.

Finally I feel that you have to pull your socks and be at the optimum level of preparation each and every single day. If you do not put maximum efforts and fail to achieve your goal at the end because of your foolishness and careless attitude towards exam you can’t blame others for your loss.

Reviewing any service and stating whether we feel good or bad about it is our choice, but personally I loved my experience at Deodhar Classes, Thane and would recommend it if you are really keen to pursue NEET or JEE in future.

After all, classes help you to sail through this vast sea of exams by guiding you in the direction of success, but achieving it completely depends on how you shape your present.

The transition from 10th to 11th was a hard one. It’s because there is an quantum leap in syllabus and level of extensive hardwork required for preparing for IIT. Once we were segregated into batches, in two weeks I felt like ‘Apan ka toh kuch nahi ho sakta!’😅😅

But Deodhar Classes had a perfect set of teachers which are always there to help you. They are more like your friends and being IITians who have cracked it recently it’s more like they are your seniors and would provide you the best ways to solve a problem. I wasn’t great in Physics, but with the consistent support I got here. I have improved a lot.

Everyone has there own teaching style and it’s okay if you are not comfortable with it
Even My batchmates and me weren’t able to understand what some teachers taught. And we talked to Deodhar sir and the faculty was changed within a week and whole chapter was taught again.

The environment is perfect for studying. Provided that you really want to study and not joining coaching just after watching Kota Factory. You will cry over Advance level questions disscussed here, after few months when everything have settled in everything would be about cracking Advance, that’s the best part
You eventually get good at Advance that by the time MAINS come you are prepared at advance level. I banged my head against Advance worksheet several time
But I eventually grow over them and was even be able to solve them.

The consistent mentoring sessions with Omkar and Hrushikesh sir help me deal with non academic as well as academic issues I faced. It’s not going to be an easy journey for IIT JEE. But they are the best ones to guide you
